David C. Holub, MD

Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine
Residency Program Director, Family Medicine Residency

Dr. Holub hails originally from New Jersey. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency training at Brown University/Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. His first practice was in a 30‑bed rural hospital in northern New Hampshire where he practiced full‑spectrum family medicine including inpatient care, obstetrics, nursing home care, office procedures, and a busy outpatient practice.

After two years, following his strong interest in residency education, Dr. Holub relocated to Pennsylvania and joined the residency faculty at the Penn State University/Good Samaritan Hospital Family Medicine Residency. He taught there for 7 years and served several administrative leadership roles, including Medical Director of the residency clinic, Associate Residency Director, and Interim Residency Program Director. He later held leadership roles in the University of Chicago (NorthShore) Family Medicine Residency Program and the Department of Family Medicine for the NorthShore University HealthSystem.

Dr. Holub joined the University of Rochester in 2010. His clinical interests include the full spectrum of caring for families, including obstetrics. His teaching interests include obstetrics, practice management and EMR efficiency.

Allison McKeown, DO

Associate Residency Program Director, Rural Family Medicine Residency

Dr. McKeown grew up just outside Rochester in Avon, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College in Maine and then spent two years doing clinical research in Boston. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. During medical school, she was able to complete several rural primary care rotations across Western New York, which drove her decision to pursue family medicine. She graduated from the University of Rochester Family Medicine Program and then stayed for an additional chief year, where she further explored her interests in academic medicine. She spent three years as core faculty for the Rochester Regional Health Family Medicine Program in Batavia, NY, where she helped to develop a Social Determinants of Health curriculum. Dr. McKeown recently returned to the University of Rochester to serve as the Associate Program Director for the new Rural Training Track in the Family Medicine program. She looks forward to growing her practice at Tri-County Family Medicine and the opportunity to expand medical education across rural Western New York. She truly enjoys all aspects of outpatient primary care and strives to partner with her patients so that they can live healthier, happier lives. She enjoys exploring Livingston County with her family and dogs, and you can you usually find her on Conesus Lake during the summer months.

Colleen Tracy, MD

Tri-County Family Medicine Medical Director

Dr. Colleen Tracy is a Family Physician and the current Medical Director of Tri-County Family Medicine. With 6 clinical sites and a pharmacy spanning 3 rural counties, ensuring accessible and quality care for the most underserved communities is a cornerstone of Tri-County Family Medicine. The rural residency program is an exciting addition to Tri-County that will further this mission for decades to come. As a former Highland Family Medicine graduate and a Steuben County native, Dr. Tracy brings a unique perspective to the rural residency track. Dr. Tracy grew up on Loon Lake near Wayland, NY and has a deep understanding of this community's care needs. For her medical education, she attended Union College and Albany Medical College before completing the University of Rochester Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Tracy currently lives in Wayland with her husband, children, and Vizsla, and she enjoys spending time outdoors in the Finger Lakes area. Don't let the winter scare you -- it is Dr. Tracy's favorite season and she spends it making maple syrup and skiing with her family!
