At the University of Rochester Department of Urology, the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion are departmental priorities. Our newly developed Diversity Scholarship program encourages learners from backgrounds that are underrepresented in Urology and Medicine (African-Americans, Women, Latinx, Indigenous Americans, and others) to experience all UR Medicine has to offer through visiting sub internship grant. The Department of Urology endeavors to define “diversity” inclusively that may include economically disadvantaged or LGBTQ+ students. Students must be attending an allopathic medical school in the U.S. to be eligible.   Read more about this opportunity.
