Arrival Times Only candidates who have returned their participation card to the Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Office may participate in the ceremony. Master’s Degree candidates must arrive at the Kilbourn Hall main hall no later than 11:00 am to allow sufficient time for robing and assembly of processional columns. Candidates will be lined up according to their degree (MA, MPH and MS). At 11:45 a.m., all candidates will be lined up in their proper columns, ready to begin the procession. Guests Guests may enter through the main entrance of Kilbourn Hall. Ushers will be available to direct guests to the Gallery Auditorium. Tickets are not required for this ceremony but please indicate the number of your guests attending this event on the reception response card. Assistance to the Disabled Limited seating is available in reserved areas in Kilbourn Hall for guests that require wheelchair access. Students may request reserved area seating by contacting the Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Office at (585) 273-1620 or by sending an email by April 29, 2016. Academic Attire Academic attire is required for graduates participating in the Commencement Ceremony. Candidates can order and pick up their regalia at the College Town Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Ceremony Information Degree candidates are called to the stage to receive their diplomas in degree order (MA, MPH, and MS). To assist our faculty with the pronunciation of your name, please complete all sections of the Name Pronunciation/Information Card before returning it to the Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Office. Reception A reception for graduates and their guests will be held immediately following the Commencement Ceremony (1:30 to 2:30 pm) in the Cominsky Promenade.
