Dentistry
Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), part of University of Rochester Medicine, offers thriving, high‑quality training programs grounded in high standards for patient care, education, research, and scholarly activity. Our graduates develop the leadership and clinical skills, technical knowledge, and expertise needed to provide excellent oral health care around the world and to pursue impactful academic careers.
EIOH offers a variety of postdoctoral educational opportunities for both U.S./Canadian and internationally trained dentists, including Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs, programs for foreign‑trained dentists, advanced fellowships, internships, preceptorships, and externships. Trainees work closely with talented, diverse, and internationally recognized faculty and peers, and gain extensive exposure to clinical, translational, and basic science research within an integrated academic health system.

Continuing Medical Education
The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) offers a diverse and multi-faceted array of CME activities, and ensures that any URochester Medicine-sponsored activity receiving AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM meets the standards established by the ACCME. We are committed to developing, organizing and implementing quality interdisciplinary educational activities that incorporate basic science concepts, clinical practice, recent literature, and scientific research perspectives on the best currently accepted clinical practices.
