Yes! Meals on Wheels has an Adopt-A-Route program, which is especially ideal for a group who would like to share a weekly lunchtime commitment by adopting a route. Many local businesses, community agencies, and church groups are involved. With a team of 10 or more members, each individual is scheduled to deliver about once a month or less frequently, depending on how large the group is. Your route would be on the same day and at the same time each week.
Please complete the online application, or call our Volunteer Services office at (585) 274-4385 and we can send you an application.
The process takes about 2-4 weeks. Once the application is received at the Volunteer Services office, we will review it and complete reference and background checks. After the training is completed you will then be scheduled to begin volunteering!
