To our meal recipients: Please wear a mask during meal delivery. Masking is an important step to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID. Our volunteers have been wearing masks since the start of the COVID pandemic and we are now asking our recipients to do the same. Please help us to keep everyone safe during meal delivery.

Our recipes and menus are designed by a registered dietitian. Meals are lower in sodium and fat than many commercially-prepared options and each meal provides one-third of the daily dietary reference intake of nutrients. We also offer no concentrated sweets, low lactose, ground, and kosher options.

Friendly Visits

Meals are delivered by screened, compassionate, and caring volunteers who are always ready with a pleasant greeting and a warm smile.

Safety Checks

Volunteers notify office staff if a participant doesn’t come to the door to accept a meal or if something seems amiss. Office staff, in turn, will notify a participant’s emergency contact – a local family member, friend, or neighbor – of the situation. Gives peace of mind to loved ones who can't always be there.

Lunch: Salisbury steak with gravy, whipped potatoes, broccoli, tropical fruit
Dinner: Swiss cheese sandwich, potato salad, blonde brownie
Monday, May 30 (frozen meal delivered during previous week)
Lunch: Cheeseburger on bun, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches, orange juice

Lunch: Beef and peppers, parslied potatoes, broccoli, cookie
Dinner: Swiss cheese sandwich, cinnamon applesauce, pineapple tidbits

Lunch: Chicken with honey balsamic sauce, buttered rice, spinach, fresh apple
Dinner: Cottage cheese with peach half, crackers, strawberry gelatin, cookie
Thursday, June 2
Lunch: Meatloaf with gravy, glazed beets, corn, petite banana
Dinner: Seasoned chicken breast sandwich, Mediterranean lentil salad, diced peaches
Friday, June 3
Lunch: Baked tilapia with lemon herb sauce, rice pilaf, mixed beans, diced pears
Dinner: Egg salad with cheese cubes, mixed vegetables, fresh orange
Saturday, June 4
Lunch: Turkey tetrazzini, California blend vegetables, vegetable medley, pineapple tidbits
Dinner: Sliced ham sandwich, macaroni salad, tropical fruit
Sunday, June 5
Lunch: Lasagna, carrots, green peas, fresh orange
Dinner: Seasoned chicken breast sandwich, three bean salad, diced peaches
*Menu subject to change. Optional cold dinner meal is delivered at the same time as the hot lunch meal for an additional cost. Saturday and Sunday meals are cold/frozen and are delivered on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Service Options

All meals include an entrée, starch, vegetable, dessert, and beverage. 

Hot Weekday Meals – Great-tasting and nutritious meals delivered to your door. Minimum is three days per week. 
Hot Weekday Meals with Sandwich Option – Add a complete sandwich meal for dinner to each weekday delivery. 
Weekend Meals – Two or four frozen meals to heat up on the weekends.
Frozen Meals – A package of seven frozen meals delivered once per week.

Payment Options

You may pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Bills are mailed to you at the beginning of each month for services you received the prior month. Medicare and most private insurance plans do not cover the cost of meals.

Members of Elderwood, Fidelis, iCircle, and Nascentia managed long-term care plans may be eligible to have meals paid for by their plan. Contact your care manager for more information.

Financial Aid

Financial aid may be available for those individuals who find paying the full cost of meals difficult. Many recipients of financial aid receive meals at no cost, but are encouraged to make a suggested contribution of $3.50 per meal. There is currently a waiting list for this program.
