Wilmot Team Receives $3M to Further Study Pancreatic Cancer, New Treatment Scheme

3. Wilmot Cancer Institute investigators Darren Carpizo, MD, PhD, and Scott Gerber, PhD, have been awarded a $3 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to advance research in pancreatic cancer and develop a new generation of therapies designed to overcome the disease’s complex biology and treatment resistance. Their work aims to improve therapeutic strategies for one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-treat cancers.
