Overview
Founded in 1898, Geneva General Hospital (GGH) is a Joint Commission accredited hospital located in the City of Geneva, NY.
The 105-bed general acute care hospital includes an emergency department, a 14-bed intensive care unit, and a telemetry unit.
GGH is a Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center, a New York State designated Stroke Center and recipient of the Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award.
Nursing Schools
Geneva General Hospital is a center for education with two nursing schools located on campus:
- Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing & Health Sciences, for those pursuing a career as a registered nurse (RN)
- Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing, for those pursuing a career as a licensed practical nurse (LPN)
