She currently sees pediatric allergy patients. She completed her medical degree at the University of Buffalo...
Dr. Pier holds a dual appointment in the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Department of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology as well as the Department of Allergy, Immunology & Rheumatology. She currently sees pediatric allergy patients. She completed her medical degree at the University of Buffalo, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She subsequently completed a Pediatric residency and Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Rochester. Her clinical interests include food allergy, asthma, and atopic dermatitis. She is co-director of the multidisciplinary severe asthma clinic. She has also established the food immunotherapy therapy program with the Pediatric Allergy Department. She is involved in clinical trials for food allergies. Dr. Pier is interested in improving patient and provider education, and is currently establishing an allergy education curriculum for local pediatric providers.
