How To Apply

Start date for program is July 1st.

Application Requirements

Prospective Fellows are invited to interview based on information provided in the personal statement, letters of recommendation, scholastic accomplishments and USMLE scores. It is the policy of this program to select the most qualified candidates regardless of gender, race, creed, color, national origin, handicap, age or sexual orientation. All applicants must participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Applications to the University of Rochester Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Program will be accepted ONLY through the Association of American Medical College's (AAMC) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Candidates selected for interviews will have an opportunity to interact with full-time faculty and fellows.

We will be using electronic mail to communicate with applicants. This will include all invitations for interviews. We ask that you check your electronic mail frequently. Interview Information

Selection of applicants for interviews will be made after a review of submitted ERAS applications, which will be electronically accepted by our program. Applicants who are selected for an interview will be notified by email and details regarding the interview day will also follow via email.

The Interview Day

The interview day start and end times vary based on the day of interview. You will be scheduled to meet with faculty members and fellows where you will have an opportunity to learn more about our program as well as Rochester.

A sample fellowship contract and other benefit information can be viewed on the web site of our Graduate Medical Education Office. Hard copies of these documents will be given to the applicant on the interview day.
