Susan Sargent is a Nurse Practitioner at the Wilmot Cancer Center specializing in the treatment of renal, bladder, prostate, and testicular cancers. She has a background in primary care as well as vascular surgery.

Susan graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Brockport in 1994. She was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and entered active duty shortly after graduation. She was stationed stateside and overseas prior to being selected for an Air Force Institute of Technology Scholarship. She received her Master of Science in Nursing, graduating summa cum laude from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2001. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Susan served at Mcguire Air Force Base, New Jersey at a primary care clinic with her own panel of patients including active duty, retirees, dependents and children. She was honorably discharged in 2005 and returned to Rochester to work in the University of Rochester Vascular Surgery Clinic. In 2013 she transitioned to the Wilmot Cancer Center where she is a full time clinician specializing in genitourinary medical oncology.
