About Me
I am a member of The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, Society of Trauma Nurses, and the American College of Surgeons. I am nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Currently I am a Nurse practitioner for the Acute Care Surgery and Trauma Division at Strong Memorial Hospital. I work with a multidisciplinary team to provided evidence based care to acutely ill and/or multi-injured adult and pediatric patients in our community.
I am also an instructor at the University of Rochester school of nursing where I teach undergraduate online anatomy and physiology I and II. As an Advanced trauma care for nurses faculty member and instructor I enjoy teaching nurses the art of care for the acutely injured trauma patient.
Currently I am enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at St. John Fisher College. I look forward to using my education to promote and advance the care, education, and research for the acutely ill and injured patients.
