Cindy Mack graduated from nursing school and started working as a RN in 1999. During her years at the bedside she then decided to play a more active role in patient care and went back for a Master’s degree and has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the acute setting since 2010. Cindy has worked in various areas such as Research, the Intensive Care Units, Hospital Medicine and the Emergency Department with a passion for the geriatric population. Her specialty is in Acute wound management which is an injury to the skin that occurs suddenly. The goal of the acute clinic is to provide expert wound care and patient education so that wound(s) may heal at a predictable and expected rate. Cindy enjoys utilizing her knowledge of medicine and combining it with her experience in the Emergency Department to care for people with injuries at the wound clinic.
