Dr. Whitman was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. He attended Louisiana State University where he received bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Biology. He subsequently attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, earning his MD in 2014. After graduation, he moved to Rochester to participate in the University of Rochester's Internal Medicine residency program. Upon completion of residency, he joined the Hospital Medicine Division in 2017.?
