My experience with Dr. Schmale was bar none one of the worst medical experiences I have ever encountered through my long tenure as a patient with URMC. [...] I will not be seeking care from this provider again.

Dr Schmale is Terrific.Dr Schmale has a "Wonderful,Good Old Fashioned" Bedside Manor. He is Smart, Thorough, Read My History ahead of Time, Gentle while In My Nose and Above All, He explained Everything In a Way I Understood. We also discussed the Risks Involved with Blood Thinners, No Doctor has done that Ever. He just wanted Me to Weigh My Options. I have Complete Confidence in My Future Treatment of My Epistaxis with Dr Schmale in Charge. At 77+ I was Scared at the Blood Loss and Clotting, but He Calmed My Anxieties and I Feel Blessed to Add Dr Schmale to My Care Team. This Office is a "Cut" above and should be Recognized for it's Friendly,Caring, Knowledgeable, Upbeat Vibe. Love this Doc,Love this Office.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Schmale and his assistant Dr. Nimmagadda! They were both very genuine and took the time to get to know me and my health history. They asked several questions, reviewed my previous CT scan, and discussed possible problems and treatment options. I would definitely recommend these two care providers to others!

I was shocked..I should have came here in the first place years ago! Found out information that I never knew. I was placed on antibiotics for so many years, most of the time it was NOT needed. I'll be seeing a specialist for my TMJ and visit the Dr again in 6 months. I definitely will recommend..thank you so much for listening and telling me what was really going on.

Dr. Schmale has been a wonderful support for me during the past 2 years that he has treated me. He listens. He understands. He's honest. He gives me options. He reassures me and calms my fears. He's a cheerleader and advocate to get the best care for yourself whether it's with him or someone else. I felt totally at ease when he did my brain surgery. I'm complicated, but he was up for the challenge. Glad to be his patient.
