A Rochester native with strong roots in the community, Dr. Stephen Meloni joined our Twelve Corners practice in September of 2017 after serving in the community for more than twenty years. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1986 at Boston College in Massachusetts and his medical degree at the University of Vermont - College of Medicine in 1992. Following residency completion at the University of Rochester in 1995, Dr. Meloni earned his American Board of Internal Medicine certification.

From 1995 until 2000, Dr. Meloni served as a provider with the Independent Living for Seniors program and Hill Haven Nursing Home. He additionally served on the Board of Directors for St. Ann’s Home. Dr. Meloni has served as a primary care provider in the Rochester community since 1997 when he joined the team at Rochester General Hospital Medical Group. In 2000, he joined the Elmwood Medical Associates practice and continued to serve as a primary care provider serving adult and the elderly in the Rochester area. In addition to regularly seeing patients, he served as a preceptor helping to guide residents at both Unity and Rochester General Hospital.

Outside of his love for the practice of medicine, Dr. Stephen Meloni has remained active in his church and in the community. He has served as manager of the Pittsford Little League, a coach for baseball, and as a parish council member at St Louis Church. We are so fortunate that Dr. Meloni has maintained a faculty appointment with the University since 2014 and continues to teach medical students in addition to his role as a primary care provider.
