[...] I had assumed the appointment [...] was to discuss those results, but I had to ask about them. When he did look at them, he said "everything is normal" and showed little interest in discussing my concerns [...]. The appointment was actually for a physical, which felt incomplete and rushed. It took less than five minutes. About 20% of the exam was checking my reflexes [...].

Dr Mitchko authorized an updated lab work request "to make sure there weren't any problems" with getting the work done. I appreciated that he cared about that. Last month, he arranged an appointment to followup a hospital stay to give me an opportunity to ask questions - especially about the new providers that I would soon be seeing. I really appreciated that!!

Dr. Mitchko used to be my grandfathers doctor over 11 years ago. My parents would take him, and they had nothing but kind words for Dr. Mitchko. So it was nice to put a name and a face together. He is frank and kind at the same time, and helped put me at ease.
