Orthopedic Consult APP
• Work in collaboration with residents to manage efficient workflow for orthopedic consults for adult and pediatric populations in both the emergency and inpatient setting.
• Management of acute fractures, joint dislocations, amputations, postoperative complications, polytraumas and musculoskeletal infections.
• Perform physical exams, x-ray interpretation and bedside procedures including fracture and dislocation reductions, splinting, casting, joint aspirations, wound debridement and laceration repair in both the pediatric and adult population.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic attendings, residents, ED teams, trauma surgery, and hospital medicine to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Act as the point person for orthopedic procedural training for APP’s and rotating trainees.

Rochester Regional Health 2016-2017
• Work in collaboration with upper extremity surgeon in both hospital, OR and clinic setting
• Perform physical exams, x-ray interpretation, aspirations, injections, reductions, splinting, casting.
• Responsible for weekly orthopedic charity clinic.
• First assist in OR for complex upper extremity injuries and joint replacements

Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County 2014-2016
• First call responsibilities include covering 5 hospitals, 4 ER’s and office pages. Identify surgical emergencies and notify call MD. Book and prepare cases.
• Daily hospital coverage; covering rounds, new consults, ER pages, admissions, and surgical first assisting.
• Perform physical exams, x-ray interpretation, aspirations, injections, reductions, splinting, casting, surgical closures.
• Assist and close operative incisions in multiple areas of orthopedic surgery; total joint replacement, sports medicine, trauma and spine surgeries.
• Proficient seeing patients in an office setting and orthopedic urgent care setting. Pre-operative and post-operative patients, follow ups, workers comp and new patients
