Dr. Garbade, a native of rural Upstate NY, attended Villanova University for her undergraduate education, where she dual majored in Biology and Psychology. She then attended medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester. Following residency, she completed a chief resident year and joined the Division of Hospital Medicine. She remains active in the Internal Medicine residency program as a resident advisor and morning report facilitator, and is interested in expanding a clinical reasoning curriculum within the division, residency and medical school.
