I can't help but make a comparison between my experience in [...]. At [...], the doctor treated me like a human being and not as a number or mechanically, as if I needed to be processed and dismissed as soon as possible. Rather the doctor actually spoke to me as if I was a human being and she also acted not only as a doctor but also as a human being. Unfortunately, I'm finding this to be rarer and rarer among doctors and healthcare professionals. I was very much pleased by my visit with the doctor and with the staff and the nurse. And I walked out feeling much better about my condition than when I walked in.

This was a non-scheduled visit due to a fall I had taken and was experiencing pain. Was scheduled for appt on the same day that I called which was wonderful. I was referred to get and x-ray and awaiting results. (At this writing, x-ray was only 24 hours ago.) Dr. Lammers is my regular doctor and he always takes his time even on regular check-up appointments. I never feel rushed. In this instance I was being worked into the schedule and he still spent ample time with me to review and discuss my circumstances.
