At University of Rochester Medicine, we believe that patients should be empowered to make the right decisions regarding their personal healthcare. To do so, transparency is critical. URochester Medicine partners with Press Ganey, to survey our patients about all aspects of their care experience. We are now putting this pertinent information at your fingertips by displaying star ratings for our providers along with anonymous patient comments on our website. Patient Comments
I have been very impressed with all aspects of this facility. From my first visit, to surgery, and the after care. I would highly recommend anyone in need of surgery to go to the "mall"...sorry, your facility will always be the mall to me. Honestly, highly recommend your facility.

Though Paige acted in a professional manner, I felt there was a lack of sincerity. I felt like I was just another number and it seemed like she just wanted to get the appointment over with and move onto the next. Though she did answer my questions, she was very short and just seemed like she didn't want to be there. In a sense, I felt like my questions were dumb for asking and she just seemed disinterested. She didn't seem genuinely interested in what I went through and just lacked compassion which I hope in a profession like hers, she would be a little more empathetic. It's unfortunate I will be stuck with her for my future post operative visits.

Paige was the nurse practitioner I saw, and she explained my surgery answered my questions examine my surgical site and gave me an idea what to expect as far as length of time I would have to wear my sling and when I would come back She was pleasant to deal with

Dr. Paige was very quick throughout the whole appointment. It felt like she did not want to be there. [...] She gave one word answers to questions I had. She was incredibly quick and didn't seem interested in my health, pain, or me at all really. I would not recommend Paige as a healthcare provider and I am heavily considering switching doctors myself.

Questions about my condition and expectations after surgery were answered in a vague manner that was not helpful, or optimistic. I felt as though the provider was not really interested in learning more about my condition and why I was asking questions.
