About Me

Dr. Taylor Wheaton received her undergraduate degree from Wager College and completed medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Intensive Care fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She went on to comp...
Dr. Taylor Wheaton received her undergraduate degree from Wager College and completed medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatrics residency and Pediatric Intensive Care fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She went on to complete a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Wheaton’s clinical interests include the peri-operative care of patients with congenital heart disease and their subsequent neurodevelopment. She is also passionate about resident and fellow education. She is the Director of our GCH Pediatric Critical Care Simulation Program and is interested in developing novel and non-traditional applications of simulation
