About Me
Dr. Soniwala is actively engaged in medical education across multiple levels of training. He serves as a point-of-care ultrasound instructor for first- and second-year medical students and facilitates clinical case conferences within the Division of Hospital Medicine, supporting faculty in case development and leading interactive discussions. He also supervises residents on the hospital medicine procedure service, with an emphasis on procedural competency, patient safety, and effective clinical decision-making.
His professional interests include teaching, procedural medicine, and optimizing inpatient care delivery through efficient systems and evidence-based practice. He spends part of his clinical efforts on the specialized hospitalist service within Wilmot Cancer Center.
His interests outside of medicine include backpacking/hiking trips, skiing, and other outdoor adventures, along with being a foodie. He is an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan and is looking forward to a championship from both teams at some point in his life.
