Dr. Smith took time during my appointment to learn more about me and we discussed recent blood tests in an informative way. She is my third primary doctor (others left...moved on to other places_ and I saw Dr. Smith for the first time in 2022 so I was happy she was/is still at the Canandaigua Medical Group in 2023. I recommend Dr Katie Smith to everyone, I tell them get on her waitlist if she isn't accepting patients because she is worth it. I see a lot of different doctors and Dr Smith is by far the best. I had pretty much given up on internal medicine and her care and follow-through is the reason I haven't jumped the medical group ship!!

This was my 1st appointment with Dr. Smith so I don't have strong sense about her yet or enough experience with her to make informed judgment. I was, however, dissatisfied with my 20 yr old's new patient experience with her which was very different from highest level of satisfaction I always had with his [...] pediatrician, Dr. [...]. I'm sure there's an element of learning curve on both of their parts.

I feel that this doctor was not listening to what I was saying. I am not opposed to taking medications but certain medications I will not take and she should respect my reasons. [...] This was my first visit with this doctor and I was not pleased with her care approach.

Honestly Dr Smith is the best doctor I've ever had. She listens and follows up. She called me once a few days after an appointment because I mentioned something and we didn't go over it! That was really impressive to me. I tell all my friends who are looking for a doctor to try to see if Dr Smith is accepting patients. You guys need to keep her at all cost!!!

I would like both Dr. Smith and I not feel so rushed in the "time alloted" to my appointment. I can almost hear the stopwatch ticking as we rush through topics of concern. This is my biggest complaint!
