This was my second visit with Alex for bilateral hip pain. At the first visit she ordered xrays, prescribed PT and an Orthopedic consult and explained why. She also prescribed a prednisone taper, and shot of Toradol in the office - which really helped, and explained each (I needed convincing on the prednisone). A day or two after the prednisone was finished my pain came back (she was sooo right about the prednisone!) and OTC Ibuprofen and Tylenol was not helping. I called to ask for a 2nd round of prednisone because it helped so much, but she wanted me to come in. At the 2nd visit she addressed my ongoing pain, ordered another Toradol injection, and explained her tx plan decision of Celebrex over a 2nd prednisone taper (she gained my trust after the first visit - I'm hoping Celebrex relieves my pain until I see the surgeon [...]. She reviewed my xrays with me at my request, and explained why I continued to experience pain. **Would highly recommend her as a primary. She's very thorough and helpful** ... Loved that she explained/educated - keeping the patient involved and engaged in their own care is essential to patient outcomes ... I've been an RN for 25 years and felt very well taken care of. Thank you!
