My name is Jacqueline Kinney, I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My name is Jacqueline Kinney, I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I work at the Center for Perioperative Medicine- a part of the Department of Anesthesiology, where my goal is to optimize patient readiness and outcomes by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care before, during and after surgery.

I have worked within URMC for over a decade in various roles and departments, I started as a student nurse patient care technician as I was obtaining my Nursing degree from St. John Fisher University. I worked as a Registered nurse for 8 years and during that time obtained my Master of Science in Nursing from Fisher. Throughout the various roles I have always worked with patients in the perioperative setting including before and after surgery.

I understand surgery can be one of the most stressful events in a person's life. I am committed to empowering and educating patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported, informed and confident through their path to recovery.
