I am a board eligible, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon. I specialize in the treatment of diverse and complex spinal pathologies. I have strong training and experience in the treatment of degenerative conditions, spinal trauma, and spinal deformity. I incorporate all spinal surgical techniques including minimally invasive techniques and computer-assisted navigation and have an interest in robotic surgery. I have extensive experience in spinal surgical procedures including laminectomy, discectomy, fusion, motion-sparing surgery, and deformity correction throughout the entire spine. I also have a background in general orthopedic surgery including fracture fixation.

I am committed to giving my patients the best care possible throughout every stage of treatment. I view my relationship with patients as a partnership, and each course of treatment is personalized to each individual. My goal is to provide long-term improvement of your spine problem, and treatment often involves maximizing non-surgical options before considering surgical ones.
A Philadelphia native, in my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, and running, and spending time with my wife and beautiful young son.
