Psychopharmacology expert in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center-Strong Memorial Hospital. I am a clinical psychiatric pharmacist responsible for 85 inpatient beds that include adult, geriatric, child and adolescent and ECT. I am a consultant for outpatient providers and inpatient providers, outside psychiatry, with psychopharmacology questions. I also am involved with outpatient geriatric telepsychiatry, as a consultant to challenging cases. I am involved with psychiatric nursing education as well as teaching psychopharmacology to Psychiatric residents, first through their fourth year.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1985 with a PharmD degree. I completed a Psychiatry Pharmacy Residency in 1986 at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences. I started my job at Strong Memorial Hospital in 1986 and continue to work there. I have been a board certified psychiatric pharmacist since 1999.
