Michael Flannery, PharmD, earned a doctorate in pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy. He worked as a retail pharmacist for fifteen years. During this time he was first a staff pharmacist and then a supervising pharmacist for twelve of those fifteen years at a chain pharmacy located in his home town. In August of 2016, Michael was hired as the manager of the Outpatient Pharmacy. For the last two years he has helped to implement a number of initiatives within the department, the most recent being the transition of the Outpatient Pharmacy to a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation. Michael has been both an IPPE and an APPE preceptor to a number of students from the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy and the Eschelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina.
