Liz Uttaro, PharmD, BCEMP earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry at SUNY Brockport and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John Fisher College, Wegmans School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She practices at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY as an emergency medicine clinical staff pharmacist.

Dr. Uttaro currently serves as a preceptor to PGY1, PGY2 Critical Care, and PGY2 Emergency Medicine residents. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Emergency Medicine PRN with work in the social media subcommittee and research subcommittee. She also is a member of the resident well-being committee and pharmacy well-being and resilience committee.
