Margaret Kruithoff graduated from Colby College in 2012, with a B.A. in American Studies and Creative Writing. After gaining experience in the sustainable agriculture and historic preservation sectors, she pivoted to women's health, working as an administrative assistant and project manager for the Fish Center for Women's Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She completed her post-baccalaureate premedical studies at the University of Virginia and earned her M.D. at Tufts University School of Medicine - The Maine Track. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester and joined the Hospital Medicine Division as a Chief Resident in 2024. Outside of medicine, her interests include trail running, cycling and ballet.
