Angelina Winbush is from Pittsburgh, PA and attended Allegheny College for her undergraduate studies. While in college, she studied Global Health and Biology and completed a senior thesis, which evaluated treatment of perinatal depression in a rural community. After college, she pursued her medical ...
Angelina Winbush is from Pittsburgh, PA and attended Allegheny College for her undergraduate studies. While in college, she studied Global Health and Biology and completed a senior thesis, which evaluated treatment of perinatal depression in a rural community. After college, she pursued her medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. While in medical school, she conducted microbiome research in the division of Infectious Disease and was involved in SNMA. She went on to pursue an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center and was selected to be a chief resident for 2024-2025. In her free time, she enjoys adventures with her baby and husband, home renovations, baking and running.
