I am a classical hematologist with expertise in the broad spectrum of non-malignant hematology, including thrombosis and hemostasis (blood clots and bleeding disorders), cytopenias (low blood counts), and hemoglobinopathies.

The biopsychosocial model of medicine pioneered at the University of Rochester is the framework for the medical care our team provides. We look to understand you and your loved ones and share decision making about the best path forward for your health issue.

I have a research interest in the intersection of the immune system and hematologic disorders.

Away from the clinic and hospital, my spouse, Lindsay, and I enjoy hiking, the Red Wings and Amerks, and time with our animals.
