About Me

Dr. Priest earned his B.S. in Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He then went on to earn his PhD in Immunology at the University of California, Davis, where he studied the role of cell receptors in regulating the immune response to influenza virus infection. From there he went on to earn hi...
Dr. Priest earned his B.S. in Biology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He then went on to earn his PhD in Immunology at the University of California, Davis, where he studied the role of cell receptors in regulating the immune response to influenza virus infection. From there he went on to earn his MD at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he stayed to complete his residency training at Temple University Hospital. After residency, he accepted a position as a teaching hospitalist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. There, he rose to the rank of Assistant Professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School prior to moving to Rochester and joining the hospital medicine team at Strong Memorial Hospital. In his spare time he enjoys playing ice hockey, DIY home improvement projects, and spending quality time with his family.
