I am a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. I have special interests in minimally invasive surgical procedures as well as motion preservation interventions, including cervical disc arthroplasty and laminoplasty. I have experience performing a broad spectrum of spinal procedures, including laminectomy, foraminotomy, discectomy, robotic-assisted spine surgery, endoscopic spine surgery, nerve decompression, disc replacement, and spinal fusion in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral regions.

As a spine surgeon, I am committed to providing the highest quality care through personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique condition and goals. I believe in shared decision-making and working collaboratively with patients to explore all appropriate nonoperative options, such as physical therapy, medications, and injections before considering surgical intervention. My ultimate goal is to help patients achieve long-term improvement and return to the activities that matter most to them.

I am originally from Webster, NY. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, trout fishing, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

I have authored numerous articles for professional journals and co-authored chapters in orthopaedic textbooks. I have presented my work through poster and podium presentations at local and national medical and scientific conferences. My research interests include both clinical and biomechanical studies aimed at improving outcomes for patients undergoing complex spine surgeries. This includes the use of wearable motion devices and the analysis of postoperative changes in correlation with patient-reported outcomes. I am actively involved in projects such as Sustained Prescription Opioid Utilization Following Thoracic and Lumbar Fractures, as well as healthcare policy research focused on the overuse of fusion-based procedures in the private sector. I have a particular interest in functional outcome measures within orthopaedic spine surgery.
