Ms. Ergin ANP-C graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing, where she earned Magna Cum Laude honors in both her undergraduate and graduate studies. In 2001, she completed the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program and achieved certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Since then, she has dedicated more than two decades to caring for patients in Internal Medicine in Rochester, NY, building a reputation for her expertise, compassion, and commitment to the community she serves.
She worked as an RN in the Cardiothoracic Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital and in the Molecular Neurovirology Research Laboratory at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is also a co-author of two publications.

This was my first time seeing NP Nurcan and I was very pleased. She listened to my symptoms, examined me, explained her findings and gave me instructions on what to do/take at home, prescription for cough meds and sent me for a chest X-ray. She also sent me a note letting me know my chest X-ray was negative. I felt very comfortable with her.

Well, I still have the same "clicking" in my right ear when I swallow. But it was reassuring that there was no infection. Ergin Nurcan was emphatic about that. (My mother was generous in her sharing her memory issues with me, sorry!)
