I am an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction, including primary and complex revision total hip and total knee replacement. My practice focuses on treating patients with hip and knee arthritis, failed joint replacements, periprosthetic joint infection, instability, stiffness, and other complex reconstructive conditions. I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care using modern surgical techniques and technology, including robotic-assisted joint replacement when appropriate, to relieve pain, restore function, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
I earned my medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. I completed my orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center before pursuing fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Virginia Commonwealth University. Returning to the University of Rochester as faculty is especially meaningful to me, as it gives me the opportunity to care for the Rochester community while working alongside the mentors and colleagues who helped shape my career.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Throughout my training, I developed a strong interest in clinical outcomes research aimed at improving the care of patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty. My work has focused on optimizing outcomes following primary and revision joint replacement, evaluating novel surgical techniques and technologies, and advancing evidence-based practices in adult reconstruction. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented my research at regional and national scientific meetings. As an academic orthopaedic surgeon, I am committed to advancing the field through collaborative research while mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows and helping to educate the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
