Graduated from nursing school in 1991 then went on to become a nurse practitioner in acute care in 1994, in 1996 completed a post masters as a Family nurse practitioner. Began my career in the emergency department , have worked in acute and primary care for over 20 years. I also have taught undergraduate and graduate nursing at the University of Rochester and Nazareth. My interests are education and orientation of nurse practitioner students and new graduates. I am also interested in hypertension awareness and opioid abuse.
