I also treasure the relationships I have built with the families of my patients. It brings a smile to my face every day." Dr. Hernady loves watching her patients grow up to be happy, healthy adults, and appreciates being able to help them through the tough times that can come along the way. Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Hernady received her undergraduate degree at the University of California in San Diego, where she graduated magna cum laude. She was a clinical researcher in the UC San Diego Department of Family Medicine before moving to Rochester to attend medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. While in medical school, she earned the Edward T. Mulligan Memorial Award for Outstanding Merit from the Monroe County Medical Society. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and is a clinical instructor in pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her children's sporting events, photography (favorite subjects are her children, their sports, and artistic nature scenes), and gardening. - See more at: http://www.rochestergeneral.org/centers-and-services/rochester-general-medical-group/pediatrics/locations/penn-fair-pediatrics-group/#sthash.lGxMjIeu.dpufCredentialsEducation1997MD | University of RochesterPost-doctoral Training & Residency07/01/1998 - 08/27/2000Residency in Pediatrics at University of Rochester Medical Center07/01/1997 - 06/30/1998Internship in Pediatrics at University of Rochester Medical Center
