~Investigating the contribution of various environmental factors on the development of pancreatic autoimmunity, the immunologic response, and the onset of type 1 diabetes

~Preventing complications and preserving health for pediatric patients with diabetes, including outcomes and translational research activites

~Assessing innovative technologies, such as continuous glucose monitoring, to improve diabetes management in young patients
