About Me

Dr. Sarah Collins-McGowan completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at URMC. She worked as a primary care pediatrician in Rochester for a number of years before returning to join the Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Practice in 2022. She is also part of the faculty of The Hoekelm...
Dr. Sarah Collins-McGowan completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at URMC. She worked as a primary care pediatrician in Rochester for a number of years before returning to join the Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Practice in 2022. She is also part of the faculty of The Hoekelman Center for Health Beyond Medicine. She is very passionate about providing high quality care in a way that meets children and families where they are and thinking about all the ways health is impacted by social determinants. She has a special interest in advocacy and partnering with community-based organizations as well as in early literacy.
