Biography

Dr. Shyla Krishnan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Geriatrics. She completed her medical education in 1993 at the T.D. Medical College in India, and her medical residency program in 1999 at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She went on to complete her Fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001. She worked as a Senior Clinical Instructor at the Department of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of Rochester, and as an Attending Physician at Geriatric Associates, LLP in Buffalo. She joined the Alexander Medical Group in May 2005.

Dr. Krishnan is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatric Society. She is also a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
