About Me

Paul Kupicha has worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center since 2006. He began his career in the UR Medicine labs at Strong Memorial Hospital. He obtained his RN degree from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and became a PICU nurse in 2009. In 2015, Paul graduated from the Sc...
Paul Kupicha has worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center since 2006. He began his career in the UR Medicine labs at Strong Memorial Hospital. He obtained his RN degree from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and became a PICU nurse in 2009. In 2015, Paul graduated from the School of Nursing with his PNP degree and became an NP in the Pediatric Emergency Department at URMC. In 2022, he joined the Pediatric Surgery team. His current dual inpatient/outpatient NP role includes providing pre- and postoperative care to pediatric patients aged 0 to 15 years old. His outpatient clinic role involves assessing pediatric patients in collaboration with physicians to develop treatment plans that will provide the greatest benefit for the patient and their family.

Paul has a passion for integrating technology into medicine and has recently become interested in the applications of AI in healthcare. He is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA) and is involved in the G-tube Buddy program at GCH.
