Dr. Weisbrod is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and has been with the Highland Hospital Department of Family Medicine since 1997. He has been with Webster Family Medicine since 2000. Before coming to Rochester, Dr. Weisbrod worked for the Cigna Health Plan of Arizona for thirteen years, where he learned an approach to patient-care that combines effective use of team members, communication abilities and coordinated care.

Dr. Wiesbrod received his M.D. from the University of Toronto in 1981, and in 1983, he completed Family Practice Residency from Dalhousie University Medicine Program.

He is the father of two teenage sons, and in his free time enjoys the care and maintenance of marine and freshwater aquariums, reading, woodworking and gardening.
