He received his M.D. and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship in surgical oncology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Schoeniger specializes in hepatobiliary, pancreatic and gastrointestinal surgery.
