Again. Dr Lara Evans is a standout. I gave her four for "including me in decisions." This should really be a five, but the reality is, sometimes it's good for a doctor to keep the cards close to their chest. And to know that there are times to keep patient calm, and only partially informed of what they're thinking. When I could be involved, she absolutely involved me. But I am grateful, for when she decided to keep me slightly in the dark, because to give me information and incomplete thoughts on an incomplete diagnosis, would have only just made me feel nervous. She guarded my emotional state. And I am grateful for that balance I've been Involving me when I can be, keeping me in the dark when things are premature.

A few years back we were forced seek out a new PCP after our most beloved Dr. Haris Aziz retired. Dr Aziz was not only a gifted diagnostician, but he was THE kindest and most patient-centered physicians we had even known. Dr. Evan's not only knows me as her patient but as a person. She is very approachable and empathetic. She remembers conversations, names of family members, topics I have shared and I know I can trust her to be honest with me, to take care of my needs and to respond to me when I need her. I never have to wait more than a few minutes to see her, yet she always seems to take whatever time I need during my visit so that I feel cared for. I have never met a provider like her and I myself have been a medical professional for over 35 yrs. She is one of a kind and cares for all my family members!!!!!!
