Dr. Meyers is the Associate Chief Quality Officer at Golisano Children’s Hospital, a role that encompasses leadership and oversight of quality improvement, quality assurance, and patient safety activities involving children. He is passionate about using rigorous improvement methodology to positively impact the outcomes of children and families. Dr. Meyers has experience leading local, regional, and national QI collaboratives and was an invited faculty member for the Vermont Oxford Network’s internet-based learning collaborative involving more than 100 hospitals from 2019-2022. He remains actively engaged in the NYS Perinatal Quality Collaborative and Vermont Oxford Network, and in addition his research interest involves understanding various patterns of postnatal growth and their influence on long-term outcomes. Dr. Meyers served as Medical Director of the 68 bed, level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit from 2017-2023.
