He is a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography.Professional BackgroundDr. Wu obtained his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his medical degree from Northwestern University. He did his residency and cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). Before joining URMC, Dr. Wu was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at CUIMC and served as Director of Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. He has spoken at national and international meetings, including the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA) Annual Meeting and the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting.ResearchDr. Wu's research interests include perioperative echocardiography and right ventricular function.
