Biography

Respiratory support, oxygen therapy, and treatment of premature infants who are at risk for long-term pulmonary morbidity and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Quality improvement in the NICU focused on how to bring technology to enhance learning, prevent medical errors, and improve care.

Research

Understanding how fluctuation in oxygen such as intermittent hypoxia and hyperoxia affect respiratory function in preterm neonates. Coupling oxygen exposures with exposure to viruses to see how they alter lung development in rodent models.
