I have been a Physician Assistant since 2006, graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology. My background includes approximately ten years in primary care. In 2015, I joined the Wilmot Cancer Institute focusing primarily in gastrointestinal malignancies.

I have been a Physician Assistant since 2006, graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology. My background includes approximately ten years in primary care. In 2015, I joined the Wilmot Cancer Institute focusing primarily in gastrointestinal malignancies.

Being part of a patient's journey here at Wilmot is a great honor. I realize that every patient is different and each individual course is unique. I take pride in getting to know each of my patients and their family and understand their underlying goals and fears. My goal is to provide the highest quality care in a compassionate way.

As an experienced Physician Assistant, I often participate in the training of PA and NP students along with new hires. I am dedicated to continued education and promoting diversity within our community.

Chelsea McCaig is an APP Manager in the Cancer Center for inpatient and ambulatory solid oncology, radiation oncology, and palliative care. In addition to administrative responsibilities, I maintain a clinical presence and actively care for oncology patients. I am dedicated to the education of PA/NP students and have been recognized as an Assistant Clinical Professor for Rochester Institute of Technology.
